Histoire
At Seele Games, our mission is to create unique games that uplift players without relying on dark patterns. We believe that wholesome games like Animal Crossing and Ghibli movies have been a source of comfort and escape for many during the Covid lockdown, and we wanted to bring that same sense of coziness and joy to the (often joyless) pedometer app genre. That's why we created Pixsteps, a game that merges activity and creativity. With over 130 items to collect and a world that grows everytime you go for a walk, Pixsteps offers a unique experience that rewards and inspires you every step of the way. Like a warm hug after a long day, we want you to feel at home in our game, no matter who you are or your activity habits, and to create a positive, uplifting experience that you can enjoy every day. Our Team: Pixsteps was developed by Seele Games, a creative team comprised of the husband and wife duo Céline Pecheur and Dimitri Darsch, as well as Juan Pedro Lozano Baño and Alvaro Franco Ayala. We are based in Montpellier, France and Spain, which might explain why we aim for Pixsteps to embody the warmth and comfort of our homes. This marks our second collaboration after the critically acclaimed Pocket Bandit.
